In January, we launched programs in Guyana and Ghana, creating safe and welcoming spaces where young people from emerging generations can learn and grow. These are adolescents who often do not know what to do with their lives; many have lost one or both parents, many have never had the opportunity to attend school, to learn how to read or write. In our programs, they are given a chance to learn a trade, to acquire skills, and to discover the beauty they carry within themselves.
